Milan, 10 June (LaPresse) – The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) have issued an evacuation warning for the northern Gaza Strip, urging those in the areas of Al-Karama, Abd al-Rahman, Al-Nahda and the Jabalia camp in blocks 975, 979, 980, 982, 983 and 1814 to move south to “known shelters in Gaza City”. The warning was issued by IDF spokesman Avichay Adraee in Arabic after a rocket was fired from the northern Gaza Strip towards southern Israel and was intercepted by Israeli air defences. "The IDF is operating with great force in the areas where you are located to destroy the capabilities of terrorist organisations. The IDF will respond firmly to any terrorist act or rocket attack,‘ Adraee wrote in a post published on X. ’For your safety, evacuate immediately to the south, heading to known shelters in Gaza City. Returning to the combat zones puts your life at risk."
