Rome, 10 June (LaPresse) – ‘In accordance with the agreements reached in Istanbul,’ Russia and Ukraine have completed the second phase of the prisoner exchange agreed in Turkey. This was reported by Tass, citing the Moscow Defence Ministry. ‘The second group of Russian soldiers has been repatriated,’ reads a statement, which notes that Russia has transferred ‘a similar number of Ukrainian prisoners of war’ in exchange. The Russian Defence Ministry specified that the soldiers are currently on Belarusian territory, ‘where they are receiving the necessary psychological and medical assistance.’
