Rome, June 11 (LaPresse) – Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that he expects Egypt to prevent the convoy of activists that departed from Tunisia from reaching the border with Israel. "I expect the Egyptian authorities to prevent the arrival of jihadist protesters at the Egypt-Israel border and not allow them to provoke or attempt to enter Gaza, which would endanger the security of IDF soldiers," Katz said, as quoted by the Times of Israel. The minister also said he has tasked the IDF with "preventing jihadist protesters from entering Gaza from Egypt."
