Rome, 14 June (LaPresse) – The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman has described future talks with the United States on nuclear power as ‘senseless’ following Israeli attacks on the country, according to state television reports. Esmail Baghaei's statements further cast doubt on possible talks between the two nations, initially scheduled for Sunday in Oman. ‘The United States has done a job that has made the talks meaningless,’ Baghaei said. He added that Israel had crossed all of Iran's red lines by committing a ‘criminal act’ with its attacks. However, he stopped short of declaring that the talks had been cancelled. ‘It is not yet clear what we will decide on Sunday's talks,’ Baghaei said, according to the Mizan news agency.
