Milan, 23 June. (LaPresse) – ‘This regime is collapsing,’ ‘the Iranian regime's instruments of repression are growing weaker every day,’ and this ‘offers an opportunity for real change.’ This was stated by Reza Pahlavi, son of the last Shah of Iran, in an interview with French broadcaster Bfmtv, adding that the regime's leaders are already preparing to flee. ‘The Iranian people have often taken to the streets, but this time things have changed,’ he added. ‘Today you have a unique opportunity’ to overthrow the regime of Ayatollah Khamenei, ‘it is time to support a people who want to free themselves,’ he concluded. Earlier, at a press conference in Paris, Reza Pahlavi said he believed that ‘this regime is defeated, teetering on the brink of collapse and must not be allowed to continue.’ ‘The time has come to end this ruin and start a new era for Iran,’ he said.
