Milan, 27 June (LaPresse) – ‘There will be legal consequences’ for those who participate in Budapest Pride on Saturday. This was stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in an interview with Kossuth Radio, reported by Hungarian media. Regarding the Pride march, Orban said that there are clear laws and anyone who does not respect the rules is participating in an event prohibited by law. ‘I advise everyone to respect the laws,’ he told Kossuth Radio, according to Magyar Nemzet. Orban clarified: ‘There will be legal consequences, but they should not reach the level of physical abuse. The task of the police is not to use physical violence, but to enforce the law.’
