Milan, June 30 (LaPresse) – The United States must rule out further attacks against Iran if they want to resume diplomatic talks. Tehran’s Deputy Foreign Minister told the BBC that the Trump administration has communicated to Iran, through mediators, its desire to restart negotiations but "has not clarified its position" on the "very important issue" of further attacks during the talks. The Israeli military operation, launched in the early hours of June 13, caused the collapse of a sixth round of mostly indirect talks that was scheduled to take place in Muscat two days later. The United States directly entered the Israel-Iran conflict last weekend when it targeted three Iranian nuclear sites in an airstrike.
