Kerrville (Texas, USA), July 5 (LaPresse/AP) – Kerr County Sheriff Larry Leitha reported that the death toll from flooding in central Texas has risen to 27, including 9 children. Search and rescue operations are ongoing. The raging waters of the Guadalupe River, swollen by heavy rains, destroyed a girls’ summer camp and swept away homes. Many people are still missing.
