Milan, July 6 (LaPresse) – The death toll from the flood that struck Texas has risen to at least 67 in the United States. CNN reports this, citing local authorities, specifying that 59 of the deaths were recorded in Kerr County, 4 in Travis County, 3 in Burnet County, and one in Kendall County. The Kerr County death toll was confirmed by Sheriff Larry Leith during a press conference held on Sunday morning local time: "The updated figure as of 9 this morning is that we have recorded 59 deaths in Kerr County," he said, noting that 38 of the victims were adults and 21 were children. He added that 18 adults and 4 children are awaiting identification.
