Milan, 8 July (LaPresse) – ‘I think the Palestinians should have all the powers to govern themselves, but none of the powers to threaten us’ and ‘that means that some powers, such as general security, will always remain in our hands’. This was stated by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his meeting with Donald Trump in Washington. The Times of Israel reports that Trump was asked whether a two-state solution is possible, but he gave the floor to Netanyahu to respond. ‘No one in Israel will accept anything else, because we will not commit suicide,’ Netanyahu said.
