Dubai (United Arab Emirates), 8 July (LaPresse/AP) – Three sailors were killed and two wounded in an attack by Yemeni Houthi rebels on a Liberian-flagged cargo ship in the Red Sea. The attack on the Greek-owned Eternity C follows claims by the Houthis that they attacked and sank another ship yesterday in the Red Sea. The European Union's Operation Aspides and private security company Ambrey provided information on the casualties, saying that one of the injured crew members lost a leg in the attack. The crew remains stranded on board the ship, which is now adrift in the Red Sea. The bulk carrier was heading north towards the Suez Canal when it was attacked yesterday evening by men aboard small boats and drones armed with bombs.
