London (UK), July 10 (LaPresse) – "This morning, we signed the Northwood Declaration, confirming for the first time that we are coordinating our independent nuclear deterrents. From today, our adversaries will know that any extreme threat to this continent would trigger a response from both our countries," said British Prime Minister Keir Starmer during a press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron, regarding the topics discussed at the summit. "There is no stronger demonstration of the importance of this relationship," he added. "And while we remain united in our collective defense, we must also ensure tangible returns for our workers. That’s why today we agreed on a deeper industrial partnership to bring our defense industries closer than ever before," the British prime minister explained.
