Rome, 11 July (LaPresse) – A Russian attack targeted a residential area in the centre of Kharkiv, triggering a fire and injuring three people. This was reported by Ukrinform, quoting the words of Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov. "The enemy struck the city centre, in a residential area. Preliminary reports indicate casualties. Details are being clarified," Terekhov wrote on social media. According to the mayor, a functioning medical facility was also hit and, based on initial information, windows were shattered. Further details were provided later by the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov. ‘At 05:35, the enemy launched an attack, presumably using Shahed-type drones, against the Saltivka district of the city. A three-storey building and a courtyard were hit. The structure was damaged and some structural elements caught fire, covering an area of about 20 square metres,’ Syniehubov wrote on Telegram.
