Milan, 13 July (LaPresse) – The report published yesterday by the US portal Axios, according to which Russian President Vladimir Putin invited Iran to accept a zero-enrichment nuclear agreement with the United States, is ‘a politicised smear campaign’ aimed at ‘exacerbating tensions around Iran's nuclear programme’. This was stated by the Russian Foreign Ministry in a statement, also released by Tass. ‘We call on responsible global media outlets to refrain from publishing fake news,’ the ministry concluded.
