Milan, July 13 (LaPresse) – "Seven days of large-scale Russian attacks in Ukraine: over 1,800 drones, more than 1,200 guided bombs, and 83 missiles of various types. Russia is intensifying terror against cities and communities to further intimidate our people," said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram. "Despite Moscow's plans, our air defense forces are achieving good results. Interceptor drones are performing especially well, with hundreds of Russian-Iranian 'Shahed' drones shot down this week. Every meeting with partners this week has focused on boosting this technology. I'm grateful to all those willing to invest in protecting lives and to our soldiers defending the Ukrainian skies," he added. "The 'Shahed' drones are one of Russia's tools to prolong the war. We must neutralize this threat so diplomacy can work more effectively. We count on strong decisions from the United States, Europe, the G7, and all partners," Zelensky concluded.
