Milan, 14 July (LaPresse) – Government sources have stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is ‘determined to reach an agreement’ with Hamas on a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of hostages. According to them, he is willing to show flexibility regarding the withdrawal of the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) from the Morag axis. This was reported by Ynet. The sources added that talks are underway in Doha, Qatar, and that teams are working intensively and discussing updated withdrawal maps. ‘Even if an agreement is not reached within a day or two, it will be reached,’ they assured, ‘it may take a few more days. If an agreement is reached, there will be no humanitarian city in Rafah, no humanitarian zone will be maintained there. Netanyahu is willing to compromise on issues on which he has never compromised before.’
