Turin, 17 July (LaPresse) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu admitted that the Israeli attack on the Church of the Holy Family in Gaza, which left three people dead and several wounded, was “a mistake”, during a phone call with President Donald Trump on Thursday. This was reported by the White House, as reported by CNN. When asked what Trump's reaction to the attack was, White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt replied that it was not ‘a positive reaction’ and confirmed that Netanyahu had acknowledged that the attack on the church was ‘a mistake’. ‘This morning, Prime Minister Netanyahu called to address the issue of the attack on that church in Gaza,’ Leavitt told reporters. ‘The prime minister agreed to issue a statement saying that striking that Catholic church was a mistake on the Israeli side.’
