Turin, July 18 (LaPresse) – Michel Platini was robbed early this morning, around 5:30 a.m., at his residence in Bouches-du-Rhône, near Marseille. According to French broadcaster RTL, around twenty trophies and medals were stolen from the former French football star. 'Le Roi' was reportedly awakened by a noise in the garden and, upon stepping outside to investigate, saw a hooded man dressed in black fleeing the scene. The former UEFA president was not injured during the break-in. The Marseille prosecutor's office has confirmed that an investigation has been opened.
