Moscow, July 20 (LaPresse) – Temporary restrictions on arrivals and departures have been introduced at Moscow airports Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, and Domodedovo. According to the Tass agency, the flag carrier Aeroflot has been forced to adjust its schedule, postponing and canceling some flights due to the temporary restrictions on airspace use around Sheremetyevo airport.

During the night, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that air defense forces shot down 93 Ukrainian drones, 19 of which were in the Moscow region, with 11 headed toward the capital.

Temporary restrictions on arrivals and departures have also been introduced at Kaluga airport, about 200 km southwest of Moscow, and at Yaroslavl airport, the federal aviation agency Rosaviatsiya reported.

According to Tass, Rosaviatsiya said that 134 flights were diverted to alternative airports overnight following the temporary restrictions at Moscow airports and others like Kaluga and Yaroslavl. Rosaviatsiya assured that the situation is under control.
