Rome, 21 July (LaPresse) – "I have received news that there are Italian and United Nations operators in the Deir al-Balah area: this is an area of Gaza that is supposed to be a “safe zone” but has been under Israeli fire for hours. We have asked the Israeli government for information and, above all, we strongly demand that these attacks, and all attacks, cease immediately. There must be a definitive ceasefire, the Israeli hostages must be released, the Palestinian population must be protected and humanitarian and medical aid must be allowed to enter on a massive scale." These were the words of Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani.
