Milan, 22 July (LaPresse) – ‘I spoke with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs, Kaja Kallas, about the situation in Gaza. I told her that Hamas is conducting a campaign of lies, deliberately creating friction between the civilian population, aid distribution centres and the IDF. It is Hamas that is shooting at civilians and torturing them when they try to collect aid.’ This was written on X by Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar. ‘While Israel has accepted the agreement for the release of hostages and a ceasefire, Hamas is stalling and sabotaging the negotiations, continuing to cruelly hold our hostages. The international community must not fall into Hamas' trap,’ Saar wrote.
