Istanbul, July 23 (LaPresse) – Russia and Ukraine engaged in lengthy discussions during the Istanbul negotiations over the peace memorandum positions, “which are very far apart.” This was stated by the head of the Russian delegation, Vladimir Medinsky, as reported by Ria Novosti. Medinsky added that the summit between Putin and Zelensky must be properly prepared. “For a meeting between the two leaders, it is necessary to develop the terms of the agreement and determine the topics to be discussed,” he said. During the talks, the delegations agreed on further prisoner exchanges, with a total of 1,200 prisoners on each side.
