Turin, 25 July (LaPresse) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said he ‘strongly condemns French President Macron's decision to recognise a Palestinian state alongside Tel Aviv after the massacre of 7 October’. In a statement released by his office, Netanyahu said that this decision "rewards terrorism and risks creating another Iranian proxy, just as happened with Gaza. A Palestinian state under these conditions would be a launching pad for annihilating Israel, not for living in peace alongside it.‘ ’Let's make one thing clear: the Palestinians are not seeking a state alongside Israel, they are seeking a state in place of Israel," added the Israeli prime minister.
