Milan, 25 July (LaPresse) – An internal US government analysis has found no evidence of systematic theft by the Palestinian group Hamas of US-funded humanitarian supplies, calling into question the main justification given by Israel and the United States for supporting a new aid operation. The previously unpublished analysis was conducted by an office of the US Agency for International Development and completed at the end of June. It examined 156 cases of theft or loss of US-funded supplies reported by US aid partner organisations between October 2023 and May this year. This was reported by Al Jazeera.
