Rome, 25 July (LaPresse) – More than 100,000 people have fled fighting along the border between Thailand and Cambodia. This was announced by the Interior Ministry in Bangkok, as the death toll rises and international powers call for an end to hostilities. The Thai government said that the evacuees, from four border provinces, had been transferred to nearly 300 temporary shelters, while the death toll had risen to 14 (13 civilians and one soldier).
