Turin, July 26 (LaPresse) – The Hungarian government, led by Viktor Orban, will not support the new seven-year budget for 2028-2034 of the European Union unless Brussels unfreezes all frozen funds. This was reported by Orban himself. “The approval of the new seven-year budget requires unanimity, and until we get the remaining funds, there will be no new EU budget,” he said in a speech at a university in the Romanian city of Baile Tusnad. Orban also criticized the EU for its support for Ukraine and accused Brussels of wanting to install a “pro-Ukraine and pro-Brussels government” in Hungary in next year's national elections.
