Turin, July 30 (LaPresse) – Tourist sites on the Galápagos Islands in Ecuador have been temporarily closed following the powerful earthquake that struck the Russian Far East. This was reported by the Galápagos National Park, as cited by CNN. The Ecuadorian government stated on Wednesday that "there is a high probability of a tsunami" along the country’s coast. According to the Navy’s Oceanographic Institute (Inocar), waves could reach heights of up to 1.5 meters.
