Rome, 4 August (LaPresse) – Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has confirmed that Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Putin reiterated that Moscow consistently supports a peaceful resolution to the conflicts in the Middle East and declared his willingness to facilitate negotiations on Iran's nuclear programme, according to Russian news agency Ria Novosti. The last conversation between the two leaders took place on 28 July. At that time, Putin and Netanyahu also discussed the situation in the Middle East.
