Milan, August 5 (LaPresse) – Brazilian Supreme Federal Court (STF) judge Alexandre de Moraes has ordered house arrest for former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) due to "repeated noncompliance with precautionary measures," according to O Globo. Moraes stated that Bolsonaro "ignored and disrespected" the Court and justified the decision based on the former president's participation, via video call, in a rally held by his supporters in Copacabana, in Rio's South Zone, on Sunday. A video of one of the speeches was posted by Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), but was deleted a few hours later. However, according to a group of Supreme Court judges, despite the deletion, the senator's action may have violated the restrictions imposed on his father.
