Milan, Aug. 7 (LaPresse) – Russia and the United States have reached an agreement for a meeting between the presidents of the two countries, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, in the coming days. Preparations for the summit are now underway. This was stated to journalists by Russian presidential advisor Yuri Ushakov, as reported by Interfax. “At the suggestion of the American side, a principled agreement has been reached to hold a bilateral meeting at the highest level in the coming days — that is, a meeting between President Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump,” he said. “We are now beginning, together with our American colleagues, to define the specific parameters of this meeting and the location where it will be held,” he added. As for the venue, “it has been agreed upon, in principle, and we will announce it later,” he specified.
