Rome, August 9 (LaPresse) – A senior White House official told CBS News that planning for the upcoming summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, scheduled for August 15 in Alaska, remains fluid, and that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky "may still be involved in some way." CBS recalls that earlier this week, the White House said Trump was open to meeting both Putin and Zelensky. However, it also notes that yesterday Trump suggested he might start by meeting only Putin, telling reporters he intends to "start with Russia."
