Washington, Aug. 9 (LaPresse) – The meeting between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin will take place on August 15 in Alaska. The head of the White House announced it on his social media platform, Truth.
According to Axios, American, Ukrainian, and several European officials will meet over the weekend in the United Kingdom to try to reach a common position before the meeting between the American and Russian presidents.
According to reports, a draft plan between Washington and Moscow to end the war in Ukraine is already being developed. The Kremlin would agree to halt attacks and the offensive in exchange for Kyiv ceding the currently occupied territories—namely the entire eastern Donbas region and Crimea.
