Turin, 11 August (LaPresse) – "Another week has ended without any attempt by Russia to accept the numerous requests from the world and stop the killings. In the last 24 hours alone, there have been 137 firefights on the front line, and this happens every day. The Russian army is not easing its pressure. Nor is it taking its own losses into account.‘ This was written on X by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. ’Russia is prolonging the war and therefore deserves stronger global pressure. Russia refuses to stop the killings and therefore must not receive any rewards or benefits. This is not just a moral position, it is a rational position. Concessions do not convince a murderer. But truly strong protection of life stops murderers,‘ he explained. ’I thank everyone in the world who is helping us to remain strong and bringing us closer to genuine peace, peace through strength. This is the only kind of peace that can be achieved with Russia," he added.
