Milan, 12 August (LaPresse/AP) – Billionaire Elon Musk, owner of SpaceX, Tesla and X, has said he intends to sue Apple for not including X and its artificial intelligence chatbot app Grok among the most recommended apps in its App Store. Musk wrote yesterday on X: ‘Hey Apple App Store, why won't you put X or Grok in your “Must Have” section when X is the #1 news app in the world and Grok is #5 overall? Are you playing politics? What's going on? Curious minds want to know.’ Grok is owned by Musk's artificial intelligence startup, xAI. Musk went on to say that ‘Apple is behaving in a way that makes it impossible for any AI company, except OpenAI, to reach the top spot in the App Store, which is a clear violation of antitrust rules.’ ‘xAI will immediately take legal action,’ Musk concluded.
