Rome, August 17. (LaPresse) – Today, a national strike is taking place in Israel, organized by the families of hostages to demand their release and protest against the planned expansion of the war in Gaza. The Hostages and Missing Families Forum announced that tomorrow it will set up a camp named "Waypoint 50," referring to the 50 prisoners held by terrorist groups in Gaza, at least 20 of whom are believed to still be alive. The camp will be located "at the closest point to the 50 hostages near the Gaza border," although its exact location is not specified. A statement from the families reads: "The government's stubbornness forces us to intensify the struggle and do everything possible to bring our loved ones back."
