Rome, August 18 (LaPresse) – In Bolivia's presidential elections, Rodrigo Paz, the candidate from the Christian Democratic Party (PDC), has won the general elections. He received 1,566,744 votes (32.1%) with 92% of the votes counted. In second place is Jorge "Tuto" Quiroga from the Libre alliance, with 1,314,821 votes (27%). The results confirm a runoff between the two leaders, according to data from the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE). A center-right senator and a former right-wing president will thus compete for the presidency of Bolivia. Samuel Doria Medina from Unidad is in third place with 972,444 votes (19.9%). In fourth place is Andrónico Rodríguez from Alianza Popular with 396,134 votes (8.11%), followed by Manfred Reyes Villa of APB Súmate with 323,884 votes (6.63%).
