Milan, August 19 (LaPresse) – "We have decided to hold a bilateral meeting between the two presidents, then a trilateral meeting (with Donald Trump, ed.), and finally a multilateral meeting in which the Europeans must be at the table." This was stated by French President Emmanuel Macron in an interview with the broadcaster Tf1-Lci, commenting on the upcoming meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky. Such a meeting could take place "in Europe," Macron added, "it is more than a hypothesis, it is the collective will." The French president also said it will be held in "a neutral country," "perhaps Switzerland, I’m addressing Geneva," he clarified, "or another country: the last time there were bilateral talks, it was in Istanbul (Turkey)."
