Rome, Aug 20 (LaPresse) – Hamas is a "ragged and wounded guerrilla organization" following the latest Israeli military offensive in the Gaza Strip, said IDF spokesperson Brigadier General Effie Defrin during a press conference, as reported by the Times of Israel. The statements come as the IDF has called up tens of thousands of reservists for a major planned offensive in Gaza City. "We will increase the strikes against Hamas in Gaza City, a stronghold of terror," he explained, "we will intensify attacks on terror infrastructure above and below ground and cut off the population’s dependence on Hamas."
