Milan, 20 Aug. (LaPresse) – According to the latest data provided by the Spanish Regional Council of Castile and León, 2,566 people in 43 municipalities in León are still evacuated from their homes due to one of the 11 fires reported in the province. Following a meeting of the Integrated Operational Coordination Centre (CECOPI), it was reported that the situation of many fires has improved thanks to lower temperatures and increased humidity, which have facilitated the work of the various firefighting operations, although several fires continue to cause concern, particularly those in Anllares del Sil and Fasgar.
