Milan, 27 August (LaPresse) – Over 100,000 families are without electricity in Ukraine following Russian attacks. This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a post on X. "Restoration work is underway in the Sumy region after Russian drone attacks. Nearly a hundred drones and targeted attacks during the night against our regions, specifically targeting civilian infrastructure. Unfortunately, energy facilities have been damaged. The attack caused power outages in the Poltava, Sumy and Chernihiv regions, leaving more than 100,000 households without electricity,‘ Zelensky reported, adding that ’all emergency services are working on site to restore power as quickly as possible." “In the Kharkiv region, a drone struck a high school, and in Kherson, a residential apartment building. There are casualties, and all necessary assistance is being provided. The Dnipro region was also attacked,” the Ukrainian president wrote.
