Washington (USA), August 28 (LaPresse) – Secretary of State Marco Rubio met today in Washington with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar “to reaffirm the United States’ strong commitment to Israel’s security.”
According to a State Department statement, Rubio discussed “key issues in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria” and “the importance of countering Iran’s malign influence.”
The Secretary of State and the Israeli Foreign Minister agreed that close and ongoing cooperation between their countries is essential for the security and prosperity of the region.
