Turin, 29 August (LaPresse) – ‘We constantly see unusual statements from French President Macron regarding Russia. They often go beyond not only the bounds of reason, but also those of decency, becoming nothing more than cheap insults.’ This was stated at a press conference by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, as quoted by Tass. ‘This is not a matter of banter, but of the situation in Ukraine, which was largely provoked by the active involvement of Macron's predecessors,’ explained the diplomat, commenting on the French president's words describing Vladimir Putin as a “predator” and an ‘ogre.’ ‘Macron's rhetoric is not our problem, it is their problem,’ Zakharova added.
