Turin, Sept. 2 (LaPresse) – European leaders are expected to reaffirm on Thursday, during a meeting at the Élysée Palace and via videoconference, that they are "ready" to provide security guarantees to Ukraine and are now awaiting "concrete" support from the United States. The announcement came from the French presidency, as reported by TF1. "Politically, the key message to be delivered on Thursday is that, given the progress made so far, we are not only willing and capable, but we are ready. That is the essential message," emphasized an advisor to President Emmanuel Macron. "What we will seek on Thursday is confirmation of this framework: that the 'Coalition of the Willing' effectively has American support to ensure Ukraine's security," he added.
