Turin, 3 September (LaPresse) – Hamas has stated that it is awaiting Israel's response to negotiators' proposal for an agreement on the release of hostages and the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza, and that it is ready for a comprehensive agreement on the release of hostages. This was reported by Ynet. The organisation ‘reiterates its willingness to reach a comprehensive agreement in exchange for an agreed number of Palestinian prisoners, as part of an agreement that would end the fighting, withdraw IDF forces from Gaza, open the crossings and begin the reconstruction process,’ the statement reads. Hamas added that it ‘confirms its agreement to the establishment of an independent national technocratic government that would assume full responsibility for managing the affairs of the Strip in all areas.’
