Milan, 6 September (LaPresse) – Some of the 20 hostages believed to be alive in Gaza may have ‘recently died’. This was stated by US President Donald Trump, speaking to reporters on Friday in the Oval Office. CNN reports: "There are 20 people, but I believe that among these 20, some may have died recently, according to what I have heard. I hope that's not true,‘ said the tycoon. ’We know that at least 30 people have died, and we are negotiating to get them out," he added. The Israeli government says that 47 hostages kidnapped by Hamas on 7 October 2023 are still in Gaza, including 27 who are believed to have died.
