Turin, 8 September (LaPresse) – Prince Harry has arrived in London, marking his first visit to his home country in almost six months. His flight, which departed from California, landed at Heathrow this morning, according to British media reports. Harry travelled without his family: his wife Meghan Markle and their children Archie and Lilibet remained in the United States. Among his engagements in the coming days, the Duke of Sussex will attend the WellChild Awards ceremony in London, a charity he has patronised for 17 years. Harry privately laid a wreath and paid tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth at Windsor, where she is buried. But the trip could be an opportunity for a meeting with King Charles, for the first time since February 2024. The Duke has long expressed a desire to reconcile with his father and the royal family in general. The first rumours of a possible reconciliation emerged when senior officials of Charles and Harry were spotted at a meeting in London in early July. However, no official confirmation has been given.
