Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Sept. 14 (LaPresse) – “It is time for the international community to stop applying double standards and punish Israel for all the crimes it has committed,” said Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Qatar’s Foreign Minister, in a video released by the Qatari government following a closed-door meeting of the foreign ministers of Arab and Muslim nations gathered in Doha to discuss a possible unified response to Israel’s attack in Doha against the leadership of the militant group Hamas. A meeting of the leaders of the countries present today is scheduled for tomorrow. Sheikh Mohammed stated that Qatar remains committed to working with Egypt and the United States to achieve a ceasefire. However, he emphasized that it is time to address the consequences of Israel’s attacks across the Middle East in the context of the conflict.
