Madrid (Spain), Sept. 14 (LaPresse) – According to the Spanish public broadcaster RTVE, 22 national police officers were injured to varying degrees during pro-Palestinian protests in Madrid, which led to the cancellation of the final stage of the Vuelta. In several areas of the capital along the race route, near Atocha station and Callao, demonstrators knocked down barriers, leading to clashes and police charges.
