Turin, 15 September (LaPresse) – Last week's Israeli attack in Qatar and its other actions threaten efforts to normalise relations with Arab countries. This is according to a draft of the final document of the Arab-Islamic summit currently underway in Doha, as reported by international media. “The brutal Israeli attack on Qatar and Israel's continued hostile actions,” it reads, “threaten the prospects for peace and coexistence in the region and jeopardise everything that has been achieved along the path to normalising relations with Israel, including current and future agreements”. This is a reference to the Abraham Accords, the diplomatic agreements signed in 2020 that normalised relations between Israel and some Arab countries.
