Milan, 30 September (LaPresse) – The Israeli Defence Forces claim to have carried out air strikes killing two senior leaders of the terrorist group Hezbollah, responsible for artillery fire in northern Israel. This was reported by the Times of Israel. According to the army, both Mohammed Abbas Shashua, stationed in Sohmor in the eastern Bekaa Valley, and Mohammed Hassan Yassin, stationed in southern Lebanon, were involved in restoring the group's combat capabilities. Yassin was also involved in transporting weapons south of the Litani River, in violation of a ceasefire, the IDF said.
